                        How many of us have got back to the grindstone after a summer vacation, and felt like we just didn't get enough done while we were off? You feel like it was a waste of a summer, like it had potential for a much more memorable time of your life, and now it's already passed. You'll have another opportunity next year, and what better way to have a great experience than to sign up for a band camp? If you're enlisted in school, take the time to ask your counseler about any music programs that might have an annual summer camp. It's a great way to improve on your instrument, meet some great new people, make friends, and just get away from average summer pool party for a while.

 BAND INSTRUMENTS

It was a day like so many others around here — endless phone calls, a flurry of incoming musical instruments, and of course, the occasional break to jam with some of our favorite gear.

About mid-afternoon we received our daily shipment of new inventory. Among the violins, flutes amplifiers were the standard dozen or so guitars we get each day. As we started opening boxes we made an amazing discovery. One of the guitars was an official KISS Legends of Rock game controller and it was SIGNED by all four current members of the band.

Most people involved in contemporary music would think that if you want to “shred” you need at least 6 strings. This is why whenever someone claims they’re a musician, they’re usually a guitarist. What most people don’t know, is that even an instrument of simplistic nature has the potential to blow an unsuspecting listener’s mind, and shatter all of our previously common misconceptions. A true musician decides his own limitations and explores outside the ordinary methods of play. This is how virtuosos are born.
